In desperate need of a fresh look, our 11-year old stained door had seen better days. After enduring thousands of sunrises, my husband and I agreed to revive it. I had no idea how long this process would take and was originally surprised by the cost, but Sam worked so hard for hours and days on it- sanding, cleaning, prepping, testing stain colors, then staining again and again, and finishing it with a UV coat. In the end, it looks gorgeous and friends that come to our home totally notice the difference.
I am confident that I will be able to say in a few years that adding an extra layer of weather and UV protection was a brilliant idea. Additionally, Sam also was able to weather-proof the door, which we are so grateful for, as there have been many cold Chicago winters where we would hear the wind howl through the flimsy, old, torn weatherproofing!!

After having my kitchen cabinets painted cheaply they began to chip and crack after only 2 1/2 years. I was worried about having a professional come in as I figured the price would be sky high.
