After having my kitchen cabinets painted cheaply they began to chip and crack after only 2 1/2 years. I was worried about having a professional come in as I figured the price would be sky high. Just wanted to let you know how stunningly beautiful our front door looks! In desperate need of a fresh look, our 11-year old stained door had seen better days. After enduring thousands of sunrises, my husband and I agreed to revive it. I had no idea how long this process would take and was originally surprised by the cost, but Sam worked so hard for hours and days on it- sanding, cleaning, prepping, testing stain colors, then staining again and again, and finishing it with a UV coat. In the end, it looks gorgeous and friends that come to our home totally notice the difference. I am confident that I will be able to say in a few years that adding an extra layer of weather and UV protection was a brilliant idea. Additionally, Sam also was able to weather-proof the door, which we are so grateful for, as there have been many cold Chicago winters where we would hear the wind howl through the flimsy, old, torn weatherproofing!!
